Tottenham are planning to sign a new forward in this transfer window
Tottenham Hotspur are expected to remain busy in the January transfer window after welcoming goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky at the start of the month.
Ange Postecoglou has been extremely unfortunate with injuries in his second season in north London, which has directly hampered his team’s performances and results. Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson were the latest injury casualties to enter the treatment table last week, with the attacking duo ruled out for several weeks.
As a result, Richarlison is currently the club’s only recognised senior striker, although there is no guarantee the Brazilian will stay fit as he has struggled with injuries this season and only returned to the squad earlier this month. The need for a new forward has only increased further, as Ange Postecoglou tries to navigate a difficult period at White Hart Lane.

According to transfer news king Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are “privately working” on a forward signing and are exploring the market to fortify Postecoglou’s offensive department.
“For sure, it has to be one forward, because they need a player in that position, so working on the opportunities,” Fabrizio Romano exclusively told GIVEMESPORT.
“At the moment, still nothing concrete in public, but also in this case, I’m sure in private, they’re working on it, and as soon as possible, we will keep you posted.”
The North Londoners were credited with an interest in PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani, but he snubbed them in favour of Serie A giants Juventus. They are now scouring the market for a new forward, with several players linked with moves.
Ipswich Town sensation Liam Delap has emerged as a target for Big Ange’s club, although it would be difficult to prise him away from the Tractor Boys midway through the season, especially with them embroiled in a relegation battle. OGC Nice’s Evann Guessand has also caught the attention of Spurs chiefs, while Wolves star Matheus Cunha also has admirers at the Hotspur Way.

Daniel Levy has stuck by Big Ange so far with Spurs still competing in three cup competitions. It’s undoubtedly been a disastrous campaign for the London-based outfit, and the Australian tactician needs to find a solution to get out of this rut. They could slip further towards the relegation zone in the coming weeks if results don’t improve.
