Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly showing interest in Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán as they look to strengthen their attack with an eye on the future.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG remain keen on the Colombian forward but face a challenge with Aston Villa’s £80 million valuation. This steep price reflects Durán’s impressive performances and his recent contract extension.
Aston Villa seem intent on holding onto Durán unless an extraordinary offer comes their way. PSG, on the other hand, reportedly value the striker at around £55 million, leaving a significant gap in negotiations. Several other clubs are also said to be keeping an eye on him.
In a separate report, Jacobs mentioned that Aston Villa recently rejected a £57 million bid from West Ham, their second offer during this window. The Premier League side is believed to be holding out for offers closer to £85 million (€100 million).
Aston Villa stand firm with asking price on Jhon Durán
According to The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath, Al-Nassr are eager to make a move for Durán, even though Aston Villa have no intention of letting him go.
Durán only recently signed a new contract, and Aston Villa are demanding €100 million for any potential deal, but even at that price, they have told West Ham and PSG that a transfer is not an option.
