There are concerns at West Ham United that Gianluca Scamacca wants to leave the club this summer and return to Italy.
Gianluca Scamacca joined West Ham from Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 for around £30 million (The Independent).

However, things haven’t quite worked out for the 24-year-old striker at the London Stadium, with the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan being linked with a move to sign him this summer (Sempre Milan).
It wouldn’t surprise me one little bit if he leaves this summer. He is a very good striker but is clearly not suited to David Moyes’s system one little bit.
And it seems as though the West Ham hierarchy are concerned that the Italy international wants out of the club…
Report claims West Ham hierarchy are really concerned about Gianluca Scamacca
According to a report from the Evening Standard, the powers that be at the London Stadium are worried that the 24-year-old striker wants to return to his homeland this summer.
I believe that we should be keeping hold of the forward at all costs.
Sure, he has had a rough time of it this season. However, injuries haven’t helped him and Moyes’s failure to set up to his strengths have made it really hard for him to flourish.
With a few slight tweaks next season though, Scamacca could really thrive in the claret and blue.
I’m really hoping that West Ham manage to keep Gianluca Scamacca at the London Stadium beyond the end of this season.
However, if the likes of Juventus and the two Milan clubs come calling, it may well prove to be hard to do that.
