Danny Ings is likely to leave West Ham United this summer after he has failed to establish himself at the London Stadium.

In truth, Ings was a really strange signing at the time from the Hammers. The experienced striker has always flourished when playing as part of a two pronged attack through the middle – a system that Moyes never plays.

Shock Danny Ings claim made just five months into his West Ham career
Claret and Hugh – a website with close links to David Sullivan, suggest that the 30-year-old striker is likely to leave the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
Now, that isn’t exactly a surprise is it. However, it must be said that Ings leaving just five months into his Hammers career would be somewhat of a shock.
Moyes usually gives his new signings at least a year to fully settle into the club before making any rash decisions.
This time could be different though.
It’s painfully obvious for everyone to see that Ings is quite simply not suited to the Scot’s system.
I actually think that selling Danny Ings will be 100% the right decision from West Ham this summer, even if we don’t receive much of a fee.
The three-capped England international earns around £125k-a-week at the London Stadium (Claret and Hugh), so getting that salary off the books would be a big bonus for the Hammers.
Moyes can then attempt to sign a striker who does suit his system.
