Fornals just didn’t play enough last season, with Moyes often choosing to him to use him as a late substitute or sometimes, not at all.

Ex-West Ham manager wants to sign Pablo Fornals this summer
According to a report from Estadio Deportivo, Manuel Pellegrini is very interested in bringing Fornals to Real Betis this summer.
The Chilean signed the midfielder for West Ham when he was in charge of the London Stadium in the summer of 2019. And now a report from Spain suggests that Pellegrini wants to sign him again.
If this is true, I really wouldn’t be surprised one little bit if Moyes allowed the Spaniard to leave the London Stadium.
He’s clearly not a huge fan of Pablo – he would have used him much more last season if he was.
The thing is, if West Ham do sell Pablo Fornals this summer, replacing him will be absolutely vital.
As things stand, there doesn’t seem to be much movement in our transfer business, so adding another position where we have to strengthen to the mix probably wouldn’t be the wisest of moves.
Fornals is hugely popular at the London Stadium, so selling him would definitely not go down too well in the East End.
It will be interesting to see what the Hammers do though, if Betis come in with a concrete offer for the former Villarreal man.
