Hammers target duo in a window “hurry up”
West Ham are tonight being reported as being ready to step up their attempts to sign Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert and Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana over the coming days.
So if that’s the case it appears to thwart ideas that the manager is only interested in bringing Premier League proven players to the club.

Bids, considered to be under value, have been made for Harry Maguire and James Ward-Prowse whilst talks have been on going over Scott McTominay, Edson Alvarez at Ajax, Bristol City’s Alex Scott and Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen .
But with little movement so far, they are asking Rennes about 21-year-old France international Truffert and his compatriot Fofana, who has also been considered by Chelsea.
West Ham’s hierarchy want Steidten to stay so hope a breakthrough on signings can appease all.
Truffert has been recovering from an ankle injury so wasn’t involved in Rennes’ 3-1 friendly win over West Ham at the weekend. West Ham have also looked at Feyenoord’s exotically named Quilindschy Hartman and Cameron Pring at Bristol City.
