Domino’s Pizza have rubbed salt into West Ham‘s wounds, as the Premier League club continue to endure a miserable summer transfer window.
The Irons finished last term on a major high by beating Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final to lift their first major trophy in 43 years.
However, they have failed to kick on since then, and are the only Premier League side that has failed to make a summer signing.
Their disappointing transfer window has not gone unnoticed, and Domino’s took the chance to aim a cheeky dig at them on Thursday afternoon.
The pizza chain tweeted: ‘Just had West Ham come in again… and not buy anything.’

Domino’s dig follows a difficult couple of days for West Ham, with the club in danger of missing out on two key transfer targets.
Earlier this week, Ajax hijacked West Ham’s £14m deal for Manchester City winger Carlos Borges.
The Hammers had been finalising a deal for the 19-year-old, but Ajax entered the race and made an improved offer of £17m, and Borges is now set to join the Dutch giants instead.
West Ham’s move for Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse is also on hold, with David Moyes’ side baulking at the midfielder’s £30m price-tag.
Ward-Prowse was viewed as a possible replacement for Declan Rice after his £105m switch to Arsenal last month, but they have not been able to negotiate a deal with the Saints yet.
The east London club get their Premier League campaign underway in just nine days when they travel to Bournemouth, and time is running out for Moyes to strengthen his squad before then.
West Ham finished 14th last term, just six points above the relegation zone, and concern is growing about their prospects this year due to their lack of recruitment in recent weeks.
