Fans have been left in awe over Alejandro Garnacho’s sublime overhead kick against Everton – and believe it is even better than Wayne Rooney‘s similar strike for Man United in 2011.
Garnacho’s outrageous effort gave United a third-minute lead at Goodison Park amid vocal protests from the home fans about the Premier League‘s decision to deduct the Toffees 10 points for breaching financial rules.
However, the Argetine winger took control of the action on the pitch with his second goal of the season.
And fans of Erik ten Hag‘s side were quick to crown it one of the strikes of the season.

He said: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever been in a stadium where I’ve seen an overhead kick as good as that, and I was there on the day Rooney scored in the Manchester derby. That was unbelievable, what we’ve just seen.
