Paris Saint-Germain have a number of injury doubts and confirmed absences ahead of their trip to Arsenal for next week’s Champions League clash.
Desire Doue and Vitinha are both doubts to face Arsenal in next Tuesday’s Champions League clash, with the Paris Saint-Germain duo both struggling to recover from minor injuries.
L’Equipe (via GFFN) report that Doue is guaranteed to miss Friday’s fixture against Stade Rennais, and they understand that it would also be a surprise to see him against Arsenal.
Doue picked up the injury during last weekend’s draw with Stade de Reims, and he’s yet to return to training.
Meanwhile, Vitinha has been out with a foot injury since the international break, and he’s also still absent from training.
Nuno Mendes has been suffering with a virus, forcing him to take a rest day this week, but you’d imagine he’d be back for the Arsenal game.
Marco Asensio is another player working on recovering from injury, and he’s also a doubt to face Arsenal.
Goncalo Ramos (ankle injury), Lucas Hernandez (ACL injury), and Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles injury) are all longer-term absentees set to miss the Arsenal game.
Gianluigi Donnarumma was absent for PSG’s last game, but he should be back fit for Arsenal.
Assuming Donnarumma comes back in, but Vitinha and Doue miss out for the players that replaced them as substitutes last weekend, PSG’s starting lineup would be something like the following:
Gianluigi Donnarumma, Warren Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo, Fabian Ruiz, Joao Neves, Kang-in Lee, Randal Kolo Muani, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembele
