Bayern Munich’s backup goalkeeper, Sven Ulreich, is perhaps one of the most reliable backup keepers a club can have. But everyone needs a moment.
According to a report (captured by @iMiaSanMia), Ulreich will be out until further notice from the club due to private reasons. Bayern’s media officer confirmed the news earlier today morning.
Will this affect the goalkeeping pecking order? Fans have been asking to see Daniel Peretz get more minutes on the field after a dip in Manuel Neuer’s performances, and seeing that Ulreich is now out, they may get what they want.
Either way, the fans hope that nothing is majorly wrong and everything will be okay soon.
