Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin has been linked with a return to Serie A
Tottenham Hotspur signed Radu Dragusin from Genoa for £26million back in January. They beat a late attempted hijack by Bayern Munich to his signature.
The acquisition of the Romanian centre-half was viewed as a major coup of sorts for Spurs as well as Ange Postecoglou. However, the 22-year-old hasn’t been able to secure regular minutes for the North London club, and with a vocal agent, a potential exit in the forthcoming January transfer window has been mentioned many times.

According to a report from Italian outlet TuttoSport, Juventus are eyeing a swoop for Radu Dragusin next month. New manager Thiago Motta is looking to improve his squad in the winter window and wants to bring in the Spurs defender at Juventus.
Due to a lack of regular minutes, Dragusin has been linked with a move away from Tottenham. He was only restricted to games in cup competitions—thanks largely to the partnership of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
A hamstring injury to Micky van de Ven opened the door for him to clock minutes in the Premier League. The Bucharest-born talent has made 12 appearances across all competitions thus far, including starting the last four Premier League games.
Juventus’ interest in the player perhaps stems from the fact that Dragusin was impressive during his time in Serie A with Genoa. They will try to take advantage of the defender’s uncertain situation at the Hotspur Way and lure him away to Turin.
It would be a massive surprise to see Daniel Levy sell a player who hasn’t even been at the club for 11 months. Currently, it makes little sense especially during the mid-season trading period, when replacing players in the squad is even more difficult.

Now that Big Ange’s squad has been severely stretched due to injuries to key players, Tottenham will have no plans to weaken their forces further by letting Dragusin go just as his career in English football is starting to gather some momentum. The Romanian has performed well in the absences of both Romero and Van de Ven, striking a quick understanding with Ben Davies at the heart of Spurs’ backline.
