One Sky Sports pundits believed that Chelsea’s owners will be amazed by the work new head coach Enzo Maresca has done so far this season.
I think Chelsea are in absolute dream land right now. If you look back to the start of the season and read any Premier League predictions from any fan, pundit, or anyone in the media, then not one single person would have Chelsea in the top two come the end of the season. Not one single person would have Chelsea second in December either. Hardly anyone would have even had Chelsea in the top four come the end of the season. But here they are at the very least, well and truly challenging for top four and some might even say the league title!

Maresca has done amazing
Gary Neville has been speaking about it on the latest Overlap US show.
He says:
“This is well ahead of schedule from where I thought they were last year. I mean, the job Maresca has done is incredible.
“The way which he stabilised everything is something that, I mean, the Chelsea ownership must be thinking, wow, this is exactly what we wanted when we appointed this guy, but they wouldn’t have expected it to be so quick, I’m sure.
“The fact of the matter is with these games they [Chelsea] have got coming up, if they win them as you say, I think there’s only one team they’re playing in the top ten in the next six, seven, eight games.
“There’s no excuse for them to not get closer to Liverpool in that period with the way in which they’re playing, the way in which he’s rotating the squad. You’re right, they will be within a shout of the league if they get closer into January, but I still think they’ll fall short.”
