The Lilywhites have been looking to compound on their midfield options in the upcoming summer transfer window, and Daniel Levy would be looking to ensure that he stays put with his transfer strategy of landing young talents and nurturing their potential within the corridors at Hotspur Way, and Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham has been regarded as one of the intended targets at N17.
There have been reports that Sunderland would be willing to accept an offer for the 19-year-old midfielder if they aren’t able to achieve promotion to the English top flight this season. And as things stand, Regis le Bris’ side is fourth in the Championship ladder, being eight points from an automatic promotion to the Premier League, and they may end up going to the playoffs for a possible promotion.
Everyone knows the fact that Bellingham has been balling at the Stadium of Light, and his exciting performances have attracted potential suitors, and the Black Cats might be forced to cash in on the 2005-born star or one of the other highly regarded stars at Tyne and Wear.
But expectedly, the North Londoners aren’t alone in their pursuit of Bellingham, with the likes of Crystal Palace and Chelsea also linked with a move for the 19-year-old.
Chelsea compounding Jobe Bellingham interest
