West Ham United could be set to lose one of our longest serving players this summer.
There will be a lot of change at the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
Graham Potter plans to inject some youth and dynamism into his West Ham ranks, and rightly so.
Whilst numerous new players will undoubtedly join West Ham, there will be a lot of exits as well.
Potter needs to raise some funds before embarking on his own spending spree.
And that will be in the form of both selling players, and releasing those with big wages who will be out of contract this summer.
Lukasz Fabianski would like to leave West Ham rejoin former club
Polish stopper Lukasz Fabianski has been a superb servant for the Hammers since joining us from Swansea City for around £7 million in the summer of 2018 (Sky Sports).
Lukasz Fabianski was one of the few players to impress for West Ham during Julen Lopetegui’s time at the club.
However, he has been usurped by Alphonse Areola as the Hammers’ number one goalkeeper since Potter’s arrival.
The 39-year-old goalkeeper, who will turn 40 next month, currently earns £65k-a-week at the London Stadium (Spotrac).
He has plated 215 games for the Hammers, and has conceded 289 goals during those appearances, whilst keeping 55 clean sheets (Transfermarkt).

Fabianski is our third longest serving current player, behind only Aaron Cresswell and Michail Antonio.
Now though, his time could well be up at the London Stadium.
Legia Warsaw return a possibility for Lukasz Fabianski
Fabianski spent two years with Legia Warsaw, and made 62 appearances for them.
And now football journalist Sebastian Staszewski has shared what Fab has told him about a potential return to the Polish Army Stadium, as quoted by Polish media outlet Transfery.info:
“He told me he would like to. Let’s be calm, I think he even said it in my interview. I bet he could play for three years.”
Nobody would begrude the 39-year-old the chance to rejoin his former club.
Lukasz Fabianski has been brilliant for West Ham on the whole, but his time at the very highest level has clearly come to an end now.
