Following Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Fulham on Sunday, Erik ten Hag delivered the traditional final game of the season speech from the manager, thanking the fans for our support this season and roaring us on to the FA Cup final ahead.
Only Manchester City enjoyed better home form than United this season, with us winning 15 of the 19 Premier League games we’ve played at Old Trafford this season.
First of all, I want to say thank you to our players. I think they played a brilliant season and I want to thank you, also, they get supported by the staff, so I would also say thank you to the staff, who also did a magnificent, good job.
Secondly, I want to thank you all. We felt a really strong bond during the season, at Old Trafford and also away. So I want to thank you for the season, for the contribution, for backing us, for the support, and it was great, so thank you.
When I say these words, there is still one game to go, and I am sure, that these players will give everything to beat Manchester City next week. So we count on you as well. They will give everything if you are backing us. I am sure we have a really good chance to take the cup back to Old Trafford.
