Rasmus Hojlund gave a passionate speech to the Denmark fans with a megaphone, after their victory last night.
Manchester United’s biggest signing cost-wise this summer was Rasmus Hojlund. The man from Denmark arrived at Old Trafford with promise aplenty.
The ex-Atalanta striker was injured to kick off the campaign, though he looked promising on debut against Arsenal. Slowly but surely, the fitness will build for Hojlund, who is looking to hit the ground running here in Manchester.
Before we see him back in action in Reds colours, Hojlund jetted off back to Denmark to play for his country as they look to secure their place at EURO 2024.
Well, I’m pleased to report Denmark did exactly that, courtesy of a 1-0 victory against Finland last night. Hojlund didn’t score, but his passion was on full display after the game.
The young striker grabbed a megaphone to address the fans, thanking them for their incredible support throughout the match. A real classy touch.

It’s just further affirmation that Hojlund absolutely loves football and he genuinely cares about the fans he plays for.
I love the passion, desire and how genuine of a human being he is. There’s a real connection with the supporters already and I really do believe it won’t be long before he’s a fan favourite. That first goal in front of the Stretford End is going to be pretty special, isn’t it?
In the short term, it’s about allowing Hojlund time to develop at his own pace. Aged 20, he’s still so raw in footballing terms and we supporters have to remain patient. In the long term, we could have an absolute gem of a player on our hands.
