Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl has several key contracts to work on in the coming weeks.
Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala, and Alphonso Davies are three of the biggest names that Eberl has to deal with, but one player who has flown a bit under the radar due to his lack of playing time is winger Leroy Sané.
Eberl said that the club is already in talks with Sané’s representation, but also that the German attacker needs to get back on the field consistently as well.
“The most important thing now is that he can show what he can do on the pitch again. We’re in talks with his agents. We’ll announce a decision when there’s something to announce,” said Eberl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The situation for Sané is a bit complicated given his battle with Michael Olise for playing time on the right side. On the left, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman are scrapping for minutes.
Of those four, one or two could be gone next summer…will Sané be one of them?
