West Ham Plot Transfer Window Exits Amid New Signings Push
West Ham are bracing for departures in the current transfer window.
That’s according to a top source at the London Stadium, who spoke exclusively to Claret & Hugh.
While the club are pursuing a top-class centre-forward and a speedy midfielder, they are equally focused on balancing the books.
When asked about winger Mohammed Kudus’ availability following Jarrod Bowen’s injury, the insider clarified: “It would take an exceptional offer for Kudus to be sold.”
However, when questioned about other potential departures, the response was a definitive “yes.” The source added: “We are working incredibly hard to bring players in but also to offload some of the lesser ones, if possible.”
The term “lesser ones” remains ambiguous, but reading between the lines Danny Ings and Guido Rodríguez could fall into that category.
Rodríguez is reportedly keen on a return to La Liga. The insider revealed: “The manager sees him as backup.”
As for Ings, he turned down a summer move, hoping to secure a place in Julen Lopetegui’s plans. But with limited opportunities, including a brief substitute appearance in the 4-1 defeat to Manchester City, the striker may now reconsider his future.
