The Everton goalkeeper recently shared a personal update
Jordan Pickford sent a message to his wife as they celebrated a special milestone. The Everton FC goalkeeper married his wife Megan in March 2020.
Megan is a graduate of the University of Sunderland. She and Pickford have two children together – a son called Arlo and a daughter called Orla.
Pickford has been in good form for the club and country this season. He was in goal yesterday afternoon as the blues recorded an impressive 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur under returning manager David Moyes.
He is very likely to retain his place as England’s number one goalkeeper under new manager Thomas Thuchel as well. Pickford’s performances helped England reach the final of the Euros last summer.
Last Friday (January 17) marked 15 years since Pickford met his wife. The footballer posted an old picture of them together on his Instagram story to mark the occasion as he revealed they had first met each other in January 2010. In the caption he posted three blue heart emojis and added: “15 years ago I met my everything. Love you @meganpickford.”
Megan meanwhile has posted on her Instagram page for the first time this year. She posted a selfie yesterday and hinted it could be the first of many over the next 12 months.
Megan said: “2025 return of the selfie.” The post received thousands of likes and many supportive comments, including from her husband who posted three emojis of a smiling face with heart emojis.
Other fans of Megan sent their support to her. One said: “Beautiful.” Another commented: “Absolutely gorgeous.” A third person said: “Stunning.”
