Manchester City are ready to add Juma Bah as their next January signing.
The 18-year-old centre-back from Real Valladolid is likely to be sent out on loan to Lens.
Bah has made 12 first-team appearances for the LaLiga strugglers after breaking into the squad in September, on loan from AIK Freetong.
He also earned his first call-up to the Sierra leone national team last May although he is yet to make his international debut.
Towering at 6ft 5in, Bah would become City’s tallest player ahead of Erling Haaland.
City have already added two defenders to their squad this transfer window as Pep Guardiola looks to shore up their backline.
Man City are ready to add 18-year-old centre-back Juma Bah, who plays for Real Valladolid
First, they completed the signing of Abdukodir Khusanov from RC Lens in a deal worth £33million on Monday evening.
The central defender has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract.
On Tuesday, they confirmed the £29.4m signing of centre-back Vitor Reis from Brazilian club Palmeiras.
Reis, 19, is widely regarded as one of South America’s most talented youngsters and is set to link up with the squad immediately rather than stay in Brazil for the Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, striker Omar Marmoush has undergone his medical at the club after City reached a £67m verbal agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign him.
Marmoush, 25, is the second-top scorer in the Bundesliga behind Harry Kane with 15 goals. He has 20 goals in all competitions.
Mail Sport exclusively revealed City’s interest in the Egyptian international last month, and the club have already agreed personal terms with the forward.
