Ange Postecoglou has been enduring a lot of pressure in his current role at White Hart Lane given the fact that his Tottenham Hotspur continue to massively endure poor performances in the English top tier that has got the supporters calling for his head. And as the Australian head coach faces the wrath of potential sack, Fulham boss Marco Silva has already been linked with a move to Hotspur Way, per TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey..
Silva has a hefty RC
Marco Silva has done a wonderful job of stabilising the ship at Craven Cottage while introducing a stable system that not only prioritises the balance between attack and defence (something Ange Postecoglou has come under constant criticism for) while ensuring that it’s appealing to the eyes.
However, despite links with a move to N17, Fulham is confident that the £8 million release clause in Marco Silva’s contract will keep Daniel Levy from approaching if the North Londoners are to get rid of Ange Postecoglou.
There are more linked, but is changing managers the answer?
Silva is not the only contender for Ange’s chair; other head coaches like Thomas Frank and Andoni Iraola are also linked, given their progress in the Premier League with Brentford and Bournemouth, respectively.
