Hartman of interest ?
More transfer speculation is emerging, this time surrounding the Feyenoord left-back Quilindschy Hartman as a possible alternative to the currently crocked Adrien Truffert.
The two defenders, both 21, are being possibly lined up as a replacement for Aaron Cresswell as he leaves for pastures new.
Anyway, as CandH have already reported, Truffert is of interest to the Irons but the chance to see him play against us on Saturday was quashed due to him being injured.
Now in a bit of forward planning from our Supremo, they are looking for a replacement for Truffert if he is not fit enough time for the start of the season.
Hartman, an Eredivisie winner with Feynoord last season, made 33 appearances as a full back and acquitted himself well.
But the wise money is on Truffert, assuming he recovers from his injury as he seems to be the preferred option.
But with less than two weeks until the season starts – time is of the essence.
One thing’s for certain: West Ham’s summer of silence needs to turn into a roar, and quickly.
