After what seemed like an eternity of Bayern Munich displaying interest in João Palhinha, the Portuguese international finally joined the German club this transfer window.
Reflecting on the past year, Palhinha shared how Bayern fans have shown him immense love, even before he officially joined the club. “Since last season when the deal didn’t happen, I always received a lot of messages from Bayern fans. That showed me the love they have for me, and I just have to give everything on the pitch with the same love,” Palhinha said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Despite the initial transfer delay, the Bayern faithfuls continued messages of encouragement left a lasting impression on Palhinha, motivating him to commit fully to his new role, and now he’s eager to return the favor.
