The new Blues boss is due to hold his pre-Aston Villa press conference on Monday afternoon
David Moyes is set to speak publicly for the first time following his return to Everton. The 61-year-old was officially appointed as the new Blues boss on Saturday morning.
His first game in charge will be the home Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Wednesday and Moyes will appear before the media on Monday afternoon to preview the match.
The pre-match press conference, scheduled to begin at 4.30pm, will mark his first public commitment since his comeback was confirmed, nearly 12 years after his first stint on Merseyside came to an end.

His thoughts on returning to the club, the challenges that lie ahead, squad fitness battles and the January transfer window will be among the topics on the agenda at Finch Farm.
Moyes has signed a two-and-a-half year contract that will see him tasked with leading Everton to top flight survival. Former manager Sean Dyche was dismissed on Thursday with the club hovering perilously close to the bottom three after just three wins from 19 league games.
The terms of the deal mean Moyes is also set to oversee the summer of transition at Everton, with the first team squad set to be overhauled and the club moving to the stunning new stadium on the Liverpool waterfront.
Before that move, he will guide the club through the final months of its farewell campaign to Goodison Park.
Making the most of the positive momentum that could be harnessed from such an emotional season is one of the ambitions he highlighted in his first words upon being appointed. He said: “It’s great to be back. I enjoyed 11 wonderful and successful years at Everton and didn’t hesitate when I was offered the opportunity to rejoin this great club.
“I’m excited to be working with [new Everton owners] The Friedkin Group and I am looking forward to helping them rebuild the club. Now we need Goodison and all Evertonians to play their part in getting behind the players in this important season so we can move into our fabulous new stadium as a Premier League team.”
