Juventus are facing the same issues as Real Madrid in the sense that their starting center-backs are out injured and therefore need reinforcements. Dier and Maguire are low in the pecking order at their current clubs which makes the prospect of signing either player enticing for the Bianconeri.
Bayern are experiencing defender injuries of their own but maintain solid results while Man United are starting to find their footing again after a dismal period of Erik ten Hag.
