Playing on Bayern Munich’s backline is like walking into a danger zone these days.
Hiroki Itō has been out all season, Sacha Boey and Josip Stanišić are both still working their respective ways back from injury, Alphonso Davies is reportedly out for four-to-six weeks, and Kim Min-jae has been battling an Achilles ailment for a few weeks now.
Somehow, there is another name to add to the list per Tz reporters Philipp Kessler and Vinzent Tschirpke is center-back Dayot Upamecano (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Dayot Upamecano complained of pelvic pain against Feyenoord. There’s a possibility Eric Dier could replace him in the starting lineup against Freiburg tomorrow.
With Min-jae coming off a shaky game against Feyenoord, things could get dicey against SC Freiburg if there is a lot of personnel movement.
